Cinderford swimmers swam well in the latest round of the Cotswold League finishing in 3rd place.  There were notable performances from the 13 years & under boys’ team of Frazer Montague, Morgan Peck, Mitch Savage and Nick Watkins, winning both the freestyle and medley relays.  Nick swam into first place in the individual backstroke race with a new PB, Mitch won the individual freestyle race and Frazer gained a PB in the 50m breaststroke.

In a hard fought race the girls’ team of Tasha Bayliss, Abby Marshall, Lauren Mitchell and Nia Westlake won the Open freestyle relay.  They then went on to fine individual performances with Lauren winning the 100m butterfly, Nia winning both the 100m breaststroke and the 100m IM and Abby achieving a new PB in her 100m backstroke.

Other great swims saw Joe Tingle win the open 100m backstroke; Todd Montague win the 50m backstroke and Kurtis Nash improve on his 100m IM and 50m breaststroke times. Paige Bowles achieved a new PB in the 100m IM, Jake Parker gained a new PB in the 100m breaststroke and Misha Cameron swam to a new time in the 50m breaststroke.

The younger swimmers gave determined swims with Maddie Worgan winning the freestyle in a new PB and Luke Mills winning the backstroke.  Personal best times were achieved by Zelig Ho in the butterfly, Jamie Leighton in the freestyle and both Casey Davis and Chloe Kibble improved on the breaststroke times.
