County Blocks 2012 Distance Races

Getting the 2012 County blocks off to a great start for Cinderford was Nia Westlake competing in both the 800m and 1500m freestyle races.  Nia’s ability for pacing is legendary and she did not disappoint.  With a sprint start for the first 200m, she settled into a comfortable pace before picking the speed up again in the closing part of both races earning her a very well deserved gold medal for the 1500m and silver medal for the 800m freestyle.
