Gloucester City Open Meet results May 2010

22 swimmers from Cinderford Swimming Club took part in the Gloucester Level 2 Open Meet at GL1 achieving 20 medals and an abundance of personal best times between them. Nia Westlake collected the first medal of the day, bronze in the 200m freestyle with a new PB, she went on to fill her trophy cabinet with silver for 200m breaststroke and 200m backstroke, bronze in 100m butterfly, 400m freestyle and 50m backstroke – achieving the award for the top 16 year old girl overall. Jake Parker hit gold in the 50m breaststroke with a new PB and silver in the backstroke; Billy Harris took silver in the 100m backstroke with a new PB and bronze in the 50m freestyle. Rebecca Toomer gained silver in her 50m backstroke and bronze in 200m backstroke.
11 year old Casey Davis achieved gold for her 50m butterfly with a new PB. Silver medals were achieved by Amy Martin for 50m breaststroke, 9 year old Andrew Cole for 50m backstroke with a new time (he also took 7 seconds off his 50m breaststroke time) and Sam Jenkins for the 50m backstroke. Bronze medals went to Tasha Bayliss for her 50m breaststroke in a new time, Mitch Savage for 50m freestyle and Todd Montague for 50m backstroke; Todd also improved his 50m breaststroke time by 3 seconds.
Molly Hek took 4 seconds off her 50m breaststroke time with Jess Bayliss improving her times in 50m backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. 10 year old Maddie Worgan improved on her 50m breaststroke time. Frazer Montague took 3 seconds off his 50m backstroke time and Luke Nash took 3 seconds off his 50m breaststroke time whilst George Fear improved his 50m freestyle and butterfly times. James Owston took 5, 4 and 3 seconds off his 50m butterfly, breaststroke and freestyle times and Kurtis Nash improved his 50m freestyle and butterfly times. Jason Games and Chris Owston improved their 50m freestyle times.
