Taunton Deane Level 1 Open Meet
Only four swimmers from Cinderford travelled to Millfield to compete in the Taunton Deane level 1 open meet, collecting four medals in total.
Nia Westlake gained a well-earned silver medal in the 16 years and over 400 freestyle. She just missed out on medals in both the 100 and 200 backstroke, finishing 4th in both. Rebecca Toomer also competed in the 100 and 200 backstroke where she finished 4th and 6th respectively.
Ashleigh Embling had a superb swim in the 100 breaststroke finishing 3rd. Whilst Billy Harris excelled in the 50 and 100 backstroke to gain two silver medals.
